Activate JavaScript in Firefox:
Click Options in the Tools menu.
Click the Enable JavaScript checkbox in the Content section.
Click OK once to save your settings.
Activate in Internet Explorer:
To activate JavaScript in Internet Explorer click on Tools and open the Internet options.
In the Security menu select Internet as the Web content Zone for which you wish to change the security settings. Set the sliding scale to medium. If your version does not have a sliding scale you can set the security level manually.
Click on Custom level to change manually. A menu will open. Scroll down through the menu and under Scripting/Active Scripting click on enable. Confirm your choice by clicking on OK.
If you only want to activate JavaScript for certain sites, choose Trusted sites from the security menu, click on Custom level and activate JavaScript as described above. With option Sites you can add websites to the zone.
